Amity Website Design (formerly Amity Website Design LLC) provides website design, SEO, digital marketing, and videography services for small businesses on Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod.
Our Story
Amity Website Design has been based in Martha's Vineyard since 2019. We started out building websites for local businesses and have been doing it ever since — learning and growing with each project.
We understand that every business is unique. That's why we take the time to understand your goals, your audience, and your competitive landscape before we write a single line of code.
Over the years, we've worked with restaurants, real estate agencies, construction companies, landscapers, artists, and other local businesses. Some of those projects are still live, others have evolved — but each one taught us something valuable.
Why “Amity”
Amity comes from the Latin amicitas — it means friendship, goodwill, and mutual respect. We chose the name because it reflects how we actually work: every client relationship is a partnership, not a transaction. We're not interested in one-off projects. We're interested in helping your business grow — and sticking around to make sure it does.
And yes — if the name also reminds you of a certain fictional island from a famous movie, that's not entirely a coincidence. We're based on Martha's Vineyard, where much of Jaws was filmed. Unlike Amity Island's mayor, though, we believe in full transparency with our clients.
